Course Details

This qualification is aimed at Supervisors, Managers, Health and Safety Specialists or indeed any person who needs to be able to carry out risk assessment as part of their role. Any person carrying out risk assessments needs to have the necessary depth of understanding to carry them out effectively. This programme is led by a practicing Health & Safety Specialist who supplies the necessary information to undertake the role of risk assessment successfully. The course includes a work based assignment which, after review with the trainer, is marked by the CIEH.

By the end of the course delegates will be able to contribute to risk assessment programmes at their workplace, conduct risk assessments (assuming they have the necessary technical knowledge in relation to the activities/environments/issues being assessed).Organise and implement a risk assessment programme, where this has not been started. Participate in the identification of specific training needs for the activities being assessed and assist their employer in meeting legal requirements and promote improved standards of Health & Safety within their organisation.
