Course Details

This qualification has been designed to improve the workplace culture for occupational Health and Safety. It is aimed at all employees who need to be aware of the importance of sound risk assessments. The programme is delivered by Health and Safety practitioners who bring real life examples into their training. The course supplies the necessary information to undertake the role of risk assessment effectively. In order to carry out risk assessments effectively, an in depth appreciation of the principals involved is an advantage.

By the end of the course delegates will be able to contribute to risk assessment programmes at their workplace, conduct risk assessments (assuming they have the necessary technical knowledge in relation to the activities/environments/issues being assessed). Organise and implement a risk assessment programme, where this has not been started, participate in the identification of specific training needs for the activities being assessed and assist their employer in meeting legal requirements and promote improved standards of Health & Safety within their organisation.
